‘Tis the season to be jolly, but let’s face it, our wallets might not be as enthusiastic about the holiday spirit.

Do you find yourself running around trying to find presents for people at Christmas as you have no idea what they want and you end up resorting to buying them ‘something’, which will inevitably end up in a charity shop and your recipient feels obliged to give you the same?

Maybe shift the focus from material gifts to memorable experiences. My son toyed with the idea of a forge experience recently so he could make his own Viking knife!!

What about gifting some of your family members money instead – that way they can buy what they would like plus, it’s a sneaky way to shrink that inheritance tax bill, leaving HMRC wanting.

Forget the gift-buying frenzy! Ditch the presents, embrace the present, and bask in quality time with your loved ones. Let’s break free from the wild pressure of present madness! 🎁
