Max and Hannah

Max:
Hi, I’m Max, and this is Hannah. We’ve been clients of Blueberry Financial for about two and a half years now, and our adviser is Madeleine.

Hannah:
We got in touch with Blueberry because I want to know when I can retire, and I want to know that I can go travelling when we retire as well. So, it was really about trying to get a plan sorted. I was also thinking about winding down a little bit as well and finding out if it was possible to take a pay cut and still stay on track for our retirement.

Max:
We first heard about Blueberry through a really close friend of mine, somebody who I’ve known for years. We were having a chat one day, talking a bit about the future, and I expressed some anxieties, and he said to me, “I know someone great; you’ll absolutely love them. Her name’s Madeleine; the company is called Blueberry; they’re local to you and I couldn’t recommend anybody better.

Hannah:
I knew I could trust Madeleine instantly because she asks really good questions. She wants to know about us, what interests us, and what we’re trying to get out of life, and then uses all of her expertise to help us shape our future.

Max:
Having worked in financial services before, I was expecting a stumpy financial adviser, and it was the complete opposite – an absolute breath of fresh air. Madeleine’s sense of humour is brilliant; she makes you feel really at home, and you chat about everything from LEGO to holidays to pensions. It’s just a really enjoyable interaction at every meeting.

Hannah:
If I were to describe working with Madeleine in three words, I’d choose perceptive, professional, and fun.

Max:
Now that we’ve been working with Madeleine for over two years, I feel a lot more certain and settled about what the future looks like. I feel better about our financial situation, which brings a greater sense of wellbeing, and that’s really important as we want to get the best out of life without necessarily worrying about what the future might look like.

Hannah:
Since working with Blueberry, my financial future feels much more certain, and that gives me the flexibility to live my life now as well as knowing that it’s not going to impact negatively on what my future life looks like.

Max:
In the time that we’ve worked with Madeleine and Blueberry, the best piece of advice that she gave to us was that we’re actually a team, and so planning for our future together is something that we do together. And before that, we’d been very individual with our finances, and she’s totally changed the game for a much more positive future.

Hannah:
The best thing about working with Madeleine is being able to be completely honest about where we are and what we want out of life, and the advice that comes back completely suits our goals and ambitions.

I’d highly recommend Blueberry Financial, particularly working with Madeleine, because she manages to do a deep dive but in a very conversational way, so it’s really enjoyable, and I can really trust that she understands what it is that I’m looking for.
