One of the questions I have been asked a lot recently is:
âWhat happens if youâre not around, Madeleine? Who will look after me and my money?â
Itâs a perfectly fair question. Youâve placed your trust in me as your financial adviser, sharing so much about your life, your goals, and your dreams. You let me guide you on how to make the most of your money, how to spend it joyfully and wisely, and how to ensure it doesnât run out before you do.
Well, Iâm only 46 this month and I absolutely love what I do! Iâm full of energy, ideas, and enthusiasm, and I have no plans to slow down any time soon. In fact, I can see myself doing this for at least another 20 years. This isnât just my job, itâs something that genuinely brings me joy.
Yes, financial advice involves numbers, and being good with maths certainly helps, but itâs really about people. Real lives, real families, real futures. I still get such a buzz from helping clients see whatâs possible, showing that managing your money doesnât have to be stressful or complicated, and that it can actually be a lot of fun! Laughter regularly erupts from our office!!
Over the years, Iâve seen the industry evolve â new regulations, new technology, and changing client expectations and I find it all exciting. I love keeping up with it all, adapting, and using new technology to make things clearer and more personal for you. It keeps my work fresh, rewarding, and constantly evolving â just like life itself.
So, for anyone wondering; no, Iâm not going anywhere. You are stuck with me!! đ
