So we are now in lockdown and on day three it is like we have tasmanian devils in our house. Just sent the kids outside to burn off some energy. Either that or stop feeding them . . .
Life has changed as we know it and it is difficult, worrying and not only do we have to stay apart from people, but the financial markets have been going crazy.
You will be ok though. Whilst we have never been through this before, we can do it and the markets will recover, as they have previously.
This is the FTSE 100 today, it has been having a little fun even just over the last few hours . . .
But look what it has done over the last 5 days. It is up from where it was . . .
And look at it since decades ago, you can see the blips where the tech bubble hit in 2000 and the financial crisis in 2008/09. They both recovered.
Staying at home with your family, however much you love them can be trying. As is not being able to go out and see friends and other family too. I spoke to one person today who felt guilty for going to the supermarket to get essential food!!
