Mums are amazing and so often undervalued

I’ve just been thinking about all of the jobs that I do around the house, on top of running my own business. If I could afford to get somebody in to do all of those jobs instead of me, how much would it cost?

Well, if you consider the childcare, cleaning, washing, ironing, shopping for food and then cooking it, (not forgetting sorting out the husband / partner!!) then it could well amount to over £30,000 a year!!

Wow, that’s a lot!! £30,000 a year to cover all of the jobs that I do.

Now think about how your family would cope if you were to become seriously ill or die and be unable to do all of these things. Maybe it would be good idea to have a plan in place so that you could afford to get somebody in to help with all of these things. As lovely as my husband is, he definitely couldn’t cope with doing all of this by himself. If you want to consider the options, then contact us as we’d love to help you protect your family.

So next time somebody gives you a look for being ‘just a mum’, or your partner wonders what you have been doing all day whilst they’ve been at work, or you are trying to juggle all of these things plus a job, just think about how AMAZING you are.
